LG is out with two new entry-level candybars – GB106 (pictured left) and GB110 (pictured right). Both devices won’t impress anyone with their specs sheet, but that’s because of their “low-end nature.” The Korean giant is targeting emerging markets as well as first time mobile phone users with these two.

Both the LG GB106 and LG GB110 come with a FM radio with built-in antenna (no headsets are required), 1.5-inch color display, 950 mAh Li-Ion battery (4 hours of talk and 400 hours of standby time), and only 1 MB of user memory. The better of the two models, GB110, also sports a VGA camera and microSD expansion slot that supports memory cards of up to 2GB.

LG's cover was blown late last month with the early unveiling of the KC910, but it's hard to ignore that warm, fuzzy feeling one gets when any outfit doles out the official verbiage as confirmation. The LG Crystal GD900 is a slider, equipped with transparent, touch sensitive keypad. It allows not only entering numbers and typing messages, but performing different actions through gestures as well. The device sports a 3-inch display that is also touch sensitive and you can control all functions of the phone with it. The camera has 8-megapixel sensor, although lacks the functionality of the Viewty Smart. The Crystal also supports DivX and Xvid content, but (again) with resolution up to CIF (not exceeding 352x288 pixels). The handset comes with a nice audio player and enough space to store files – 1.5GB built-in memory and support of microSDHC cards with capacity to 32GB. What you also get in the box is a pair of headphones (with a mike), software CD, user manual, wall charger, USB cable. Whether or not you get a TV-Out cable depends on your region and retailer.

Looks: The phone looks nice; nothing too flashy. It is simple, yet it manages to draw attention. This is thanks to the black band placed just below the keypad.

Audio and video: The video quality is nice and the output is very good. The audio is loud enough; however, when FM radio is played back it fails to have the same effect.

Camera: In the 3 Mega Pixel category, this phone is by far cheapest. The quality of the picture taken is pretty decent. The flash too is pretty powerful and effective. Even after zooming in the picture does not break-up. Only drawback is that the phone does not have any editing related features.

Features: The phone boasts of rhythmic lights dance to the tunes of the song being played. The in-built memory is 256 MB, which can be extended up to 4 GB. The phone is Bluetooth enabled. It has the option of a time-teller.
